We wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks for all you do to help make our community a better place. The education of our young people is the foundation for the rest of their lives, and the efforts you put into this education are invaluable.

We value education and feel strongly that educating kids isn't just about teaching a curriculum, we feel that it's about helping kids to Fall in Love with Learning. Below, you will find a list of some of the ways our partner, Pier 49 Pizza has found that they can support education. Elementary Schools

• Fall in love with learning – a program where Pier 49 provides a free one topping pizza to students who complete a goal they set with their teacher. This program runs for 8 months each school year.

• Volunteer reading – we would be happy to come and read with your class – and even share with them why reading skills are important to work in a pizzeria.

• Pizza Days – many kindergarten classes discuss pizza – we can bring in the ingredients and let your students help us make a pizza. We end the presentation by providing a slice of pizza for each member of the class.

 

Jr. High & High Schools

• Fundraisers – The Pier 49 Pizza Fundraiser takes about 4 hours, ends with a pizza party, your group makes 50% of the sale price, and an average student can earn $100 or more. The best part is that the only prep you need to do is to have your group show up - there is no follow up after the event is over, and you'll have your money by the time the pizza party ends. To increase your selling success we only do two fundraisers per school per year. If you are interested please contact your local Pier 49 Pizza manager as early as possible to reserve your group’s spot.

• Post-Game Celebrations – Bring the team in for pizza after any of your school’s sporting events and the drinks are on us*.

• Team Banquets – We offer a 10% discount for team banquets.*

• Prizes – We are happy to donate prizes for school-sponsored events.

• Catering – We offer 10%* off your entire order when you purchase 3 or more pizzas. We also are able to provide paper goods at your request.
