Fall in Love with Learning! Scholarship

This program has been designed to encourage and reward our team members who go the extra mile not just at work, but who also excel at school.

For the 2009-2010 School Year, we will be awarding one $500 scholarship* to an outstanding Pier 49 Pizza Team Member/Scholar at a special Scholarship Ceremony held in May..

In order to qualify, the following criteria must be met:

• At least six months of contiguous employment at Pier 49 Pizza.

• You must be employed at the time of application.

• Letter of recommendation from a scholastic leader.

• Letter of recommendation from the Owner/Principal Operator of the restaurant where you are employed.

• A signed and completed application must be postmarked no later than February 16, 2009. Completed applications will include the following:

• Copy of Applicant’s transcript of grades
• Both Letters of Recommendation
• A 500-1000 word essay explaining why you Love Learning!

*The scholarship will be paid directly to the scholastic institution at the time of enrollment. Pier 49 Pizza, Inc. reserves the right to revoke/cancel the scholarship in the case of fraud, misrepresentation, or other special circumstances.
